Did Blue Cross Raise Your Deductible?

Published on

David Lazarus' column in the Los Angeles Times (see below) reports that on May 1st, Blue Cross will dramatically increase the annual deductibles on individual health insurance policies, increase premiums, and make other changes to benefits like increasing co-pays.

If Blue Cross is allowed to get away with making sweeping changes to our insurance contracts in the midst of the year without our permission then those contracts aren't worth the paper they are printed on!  Consumer Watchdog is investigating this outrageous bait and switch and needs your help.

If Blue Cross sent you a letter announcing it will be changing your deductible or other policy terms, we want to hear from you.  Please tell us about it here and be sure to include an email address and a phone number so we can follow-up. Thanks!
