The Federal Communications Commission's new Internet rules require that the broadband internet access providers — like Comcast, Time Warner, and AT&T — must protect the privacy of consumers' personal information as they use the networks. But as our latest Bite Back video explains the practices by Internet companies like Google, Facebook, Netflix, Amazon, Yahoo!, and eBay pose just as much of a threat to privacy as the activities of Internet providers. For privacy protections to mean anything, they have to cover these Internet companies the FCC calls “edge providers."
