A new LA Times/Bloomberg poll (opens in new tab) says Americans believe that we need more regulation of industry in order to protect against the type of financial disaster that has led to the massive government intervention in the American banking system. According to the poll, three quarters of Americans believe that a lack of regulation got us into this mess.
