Arnold’s greenwash

A blog at the LA Times today – Schwarzenegger’s pale green report card – highlights the weak ratings on environmental scorecards given to the man who has marketed himself as America’s green governor.  It’s a common theme at our ArnoldWatch blog, where we’ve been chronicling Arnold’s mediocre ratings from the environmental community for years.

See our commentaries on the governor’s failure to live up to his promises on the environment: Arnold’s fake green glow, Pulling back the green curtain, Dismissal tarnishes the Green Giant, The green haze is lifting, and Green Sonja

The Times recap includes the governor’s veto of a bill that created a container fee to pay for smog reduction at the state’s ports, the largest source of diesel pollution in southern California.
