Consumer Watchdog fights with families across the state of California to improve the quality of health care and to advocate for the rights of patients and their families to hold negligent doctors and hospitals accountable.
Our volunteer advocates join Consumer Watchdog to participate and testify before the Medical Board of California and other regulatory boards. They support legislation to improve patient safety, to enhance the quality of health care, and to pursue physician accountability. They take time out of their lives to advocate for issues that will provide rights for families and injured patients, and participate and testify at governmental sunset review oversight hearings.
These courageous advocates have turned their pain and grief into action in honor of their loved ones but also for the benefit of all Californians.
