California Nurses Say YES to Prop 45

<p><span class="field-content">The Yes On Prop 45 campaign today released its first television advertisement featuring three working registered nurses discussing how their patients’ health care has been compromised by health insurance companies that are raising their rates.</span></p>

It would affect six million Californians who buy their own insurance or work for a small business.</p>

<p>A No on 46 spokesperson suggests that it’s more important that a physician enjoy alcohol after dinner instead of finding out the cause of an adverse event, such as disability or death of a patient. <p>The senate office charged with investigating state agencies recently found that the <a href="http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/">Department of Toxic Substances Control</a> has failed to live up to its mission in several key areas. <a href="http://www.documentcloud.org/documents/1252648-final-dtsc-report-7-11-14-pdfversion1-pdf-1.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">This report</a> comes more than a year after three state senators ordered an investigation into allegations that the DTSC is falling down on the job and putting polluters before public health and the environment.</p>
