Chuck Quackenbush, the disgraced former California insurance commissioner who resigned in 2000 after accusations of misusing public funds, has been of late, a deputy sheriff in Florida. Quack is under fire again and in the news after shooting a suspect during an arrest this week, he has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending an internal police investigation.
