We have worried along with you here, repeatedly about identity theft. Consumer privacy advocates may have a new ally, tonight. The CEO of Citigroup, Chuck Prince. Those digits above the New York City skyline, the first five numbers in Mr. Prince’s social security number. The Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights (FTCR) says Citigroup’s policies on privacy and opposition to strict deregulation makes it the poster child for bad policies. A spokesman say it obtained Prince’s number for $30 on, where else, the Internet.
