- Requiring insurance companies to cover all homeowners who make their homes fire safe
- Foiling insurance companies’ unreasonable rate hike requests
- Implementing new landmark protections against oil refiners’ profiteering at the gas pump
- Protecting new bans against community oil drilling
- Holding insurance companies accountable for underwriting and investing in fossil fuel projects
- Improving patients’ access to safe, quality health care
- Restoring all health insurance policyholders’ rights to sue for damages when a claim is denied – a right taken from those with employer-paid coverage in a 1987 Supreme Court ruling
