On the morning of June 13, 2012, Consumer Watchdog announced a lawsuit against Blue Shield of California for abuses by the company against its policy holders. Consumer Watchdog has filed a class action lawsuit against Blue Shield for illegally pushing consumers with pre-existing health conditions into bare-bones coverage, or worse, into the ranks of the uninsured.
