Every day, it seems the list of places geeks can wear their Google Glasses gets shorter and shorter. What about the Googleplex itself?

Google held its annual shareholders meeting Thursday afternoon in Mountain View, and banned anyone from taking anything into the meeting that was capable of recording the proceedings—no cameras, no recording devices, no smartphones and no Google Glass.

"Google has unleashed one of the most privacy invasive devices ever," said John M. Simpson, Consumer Watchdog's Privacy Project director in a statement. "Google Glass aids and abets people who want to invade our privacy by videoing or photographing us surreptitiously, but when it comes to their own privacy Google executives jealously guard it."

Earlier this week, we told you about casinos banning Google Glass, over concerns that card counting apps would give Glass owners an unfair advantage.
