The Cliff

Published on

This is no Thelma and Louise moment. The US government is driving over a cliff and few American taxpayers have smiles on their faces.

All eyes are on the Capitol now, so imagine what happens when no one is watching.

With all the uncertainty in 2013, one thing is for sure: Consumer Watchdog will have your back when the politicians think no one is watching. Now we are asking you to get our back.

If you are making a tax-deductible contribution in 2012, please make one now to Consumer Watchdog.

We are getting close to our year-end goal of $25,000 raised by midnight tomorrow, but we won't be able to make it without your support.

If you haven't made a contribution yet, will you help Consumer Watchdog keep exposing, confronting and changing injustice in 2013?

Your support will help:

  • Make sure politicians are accountable when they pull dirty tricks and ignore the public interest.
  • Save you money on your insurance bills.
  • Provide patients with an effective voice for affordable, high-quality health care.
  • Protect your online privacy.

$5, $10, $25 — whatever you can contribute before the new year — will make a big difference to our education and advocacy in 2013. And it's tax-deductible.

Thanks for all your support.

For those who have already contributed, thanks for making this year-end fundraising drive a success.

Have a great new year,
